Product Description

The Definitive Technology BP9020 is a high-performance bipolar floorstanding speaker system engineered to deliver immersive cinematic sound, powerful bass, and room-filling musical performance. Part of Definitive Technology’s acclaimed BP9000 Series, the BP9020 combines advanced acoustic engineering with sleek modern aesthetics to create an exceptional home theater experience.

At the heart of the BP9020 is Definitive Technology’s patented Forward-Focused Bipolar Array, a unique speaker architecture that combines front- and rear-firing drivers to create a larger, more spacious soundstage than conventional tower speakers. This design produces exceptional depth, wider imaging, and immersive surround-like performance even in stereo listening.

Each speaker features:

• Integrated 8-inch powered subwoofer

• Front & rear driver arrays

• 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter

• Multiple high-performance midrange drivers

• Intelligent Bass Control system

This combination allows the BP9020 to deliver deep cinematic bass, crystal-clear dialogue, dynamic impact, and expansive room-filling sound for both movies and music.

The built-in powered subwoofer eliminates the need for excessive external bass reinforcement in many setups while maintaining tight low-frequency control. Definitive Technology’s Intelligent Bass Control preserves midrange clarity even when increasing bass output — something many traditional speakers struggle to achieve.

The BP9020 is also Dolby Atmos & DTS:X compatible via optional A90 Height Modules, allowing users to upgrade to immersive 3D audio formats without complex ceiling speaker installations.
